Paolo Bertoldi, a pioneer of the hospitality industry of this region, opened Hotel du Lac in 1901, creating a perfect haven for the long “summer holidays” typical of the turn of the century culture. The ambiance, the furnishings echo the history and the events of an entire century. Paolo Bertoldi’s descendants still run the hotel following in his footsteps with care and dedication to preserve the elegant and comfortable sobriety of a bygone era.

Through Paolo Bertoldi’s son, and granddaughter, we now have the Gabrielli family: mamma Alessandra and papa Luciano overseeing staff activities, Vera and Andrea welcoming the guests and handling any kind of question and request, and the sixth generation represented by Anna Sofia and Federico.
